Instrument Fitting Guide
At Hiscox Cases we've been crafting cases since 1985 to protect
your instruments for the long haul. With the wide variety of instrument sizes
and shapes available today—ranging from timeless classics to modern designs—our
cases are built to accommodate as many as possible. However, since not all
instruments are the same, we offer custom padding to ensure a perfect, snug fit
and prevent your instrument from shifting around inside the case.
With Reference to Guitars
One important factor to consider when checking the fit of your
instrument is the neck angle, which refers to the angle of the guitar's neck in
relation to its body. We have a helpful video that explains this in detail below. The key is that
the neck should rest comfortably on the case’s neck rest, with no gap
underneath. Any gap could cause the case lid to apply unwanted pressure on the
instrument’s neck, leading to potential damage.

Customisable Padding Guide
Foam cushions covered in velour to match your Hiscox case. Available in both closed and open style. Closed can be used anywhere in the case while the open style are designed to be fixed to the sidewalls of the base and tucked into the space between the sidewall and aluminium valance for a clean look.
